A Script Your Future program, with AACP, NACDS Foundation, AMA, NCPA, AACN, APhA
This week marks Week 2 of the Script Your Future Medication Adherence Team Challenge. We are excited about the work the teams have been doing. Keep up the good work!
Team point of contact: Please forward these e-mails to your students, and please let us know if you’d like us to add any of your team members to the listserv.
Don't forget to send your brief weekly update each Friday! If you have not sent one for Week 1 yet, please do so! We look forward to hearing about the exciting things you have going on.
Materials for your use
Facebook “I Will Pledge” Tab: The Script Your Future campaign has a tab on Facebook to encourage individuals “to take the pledge to take your meds.” Check it out and share.
Social Media: Don’t forget to share, like, and add to your photo albums on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram. Infographics are available on the Community page under the “Digital Documents” section. Find us on Facebook and follow the conversation on Twitter. Use #SYFchallenge and tag us @IWillTakeMyMeds.
Media Outreach: Use the materials and guides available on the Ning Community site to announce your activities to the media. Any time you hold an event and would like media to attend, use the media advisory to get the word out. We also have draft text for an interesting Letter to the Editor.
Best Practices: The Best Practices documents posted on the Ning Community site under “Documents for Download” have great tips for creating innovative solutions.
Q: We want to do outreach with Spanish-speaking populations. Does the campaign have more materials?
A: We have a consumer one-pager in both English and Spanish that can be used for additional outreach. Visit the Ning site to download them today. We also have wallet cards in Chinese, Vietnamese, and Russian that you may request. The PDF versions of the wallet cards, including those in Hmong can be found on our website here: http://www.scriptyourfuture.org/get-campaign-materials/.
Q: We are running low on materials, how do I request additional materials?
A: If your team needs more materials, please send me (firstname.lastname@example.org) an email as soon as possible with the amount you need.
Q: My school does not have an official Facebook page or Twitter account to connect with Script Your Future. How can I promote the Challenge?
A: We understand that getting approval to use official communication channels can be a challenge. Here is an example of what you can do. Try using your own personal accounts—like us on Facebook and invite your health professions friends to do the same! That’s a great way to make sure the word gets out to those who can help move the needle on adherence.
As always, please feel free to contact me at email@example.com if you have any questions.
