A Script Your Future program, with AACP, NACDS Foundation, AMA, NCPA, AACN, APhA
The 2018 Challenge has officially concluded and we couldn't be more excited about the great outreach you have done over the last two months. We know this is a busy time of year and we appreciate your work and enthusiasm.
Quick Snapshot of Challenge Activities
This year's teams have done amazing work. Thank you all for being on the ground and interacting with patients. Here is a little bit of what we have seen:
- Translating SYF materials into new languages
- Involving local community leaders as spokespersons
- A Radio Blog Talk Series
- Special Valentine’s Day activities
- Health fairs and brown bag counseling events
- Promoting adherence on the local news
Teams have also taken to social media to promote the Challenge and their efforts during January and February.
Announcing Award Prizes
As you conduct your final activities, we are pleased to announce the Challenge Award Prize amounts. With the help of our generous Challenge sponsors, we are awarding the following prizes to the winning teams, which are to be applied towards future patient engagement activities.
National Team Awards and Rookie Team Award: Each of the three winning teams will be awarded $1,000!
Focused Activity Awards: Each of the three winning teams will be awarded $650!
Final Report and Event Log
We can’t wait to see the final reports of all your activities! Don't forget that submissions for the National Team Awards must include a measurement of outcomes from the activities and social media, including the event and media tracking log (see sample attached).
IMPORTANT REMINDER! --PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE include ALL categories listed on the sample event and media tracking log in your own. If you did not use one of the metrics listed, simply place "0" or "N/A" in that column. In addition to the metrics listed on our event log, you may include other data points you may have used to measure outcomes. ***Also, please be sure to total each metric at the bottom of each column-we really can not stress this enough, as it is critical in helping us keep track of the overall metrics for the challenge. THIS WILL BE TAKEN INTO ACCOUNT WHEN SCORING YOUR APPLICATIONS!
Finally, remember applications are due Thursday, March 29th by 11:59 PM. As you prepare your applications for submission, follow the requirements listed in the Application and Grading Criteria document on the Community website.
